I believe the best way to understand the world is by listening to human stories. What began as journalism has evolved into a journey of exploring new places, meeting different cultures, and seeing life from new perspectives. Every city, every person adds something new, and I turn these experiences into stories worth sharing.
Growing Up
Childhood
I grew up in Istanbul, amid diversity. This taught me early on not to view the world through a single window. From a young age, I tried to understand both myself and the world around me. Since childhood, I was someone who observed the world around me and tried to make sense of different lives.
Journalism
In Pursuit of the Story
I covered many events that have left their mark on Turkey’s collective memory in the field. I focused on human rights, freedom of expression, and justice.
This path was not always a safe one; at times I faced pressure and threats because of my work. But each time, I was reminded of the importance of making people’s stories heard and bringing justice into visibility.
PANDORA
Design Studio
Beyond journalism, I discovered another way of creating and sharing through Pandora. This design office I founded worked in the fields of social media, graphic, and web design. Over time, Pandora grew beyond being just an office. It transformed into a space where everyone who passed through learned something and developed themselves. Dozens of students gained experience here. Going beyond commercial projects, we also produced work that supported many civil society organizations.
